Meet Mary Anderson, MD, FAAD
Dr. Anderson grew up on her family’s dairy farm in Northern California. After graduating as valedictorian of her high school class she attended Georgetown University, graduating with a degree in international politics, cum laude. She received her medical degree from Columbia University’s College of Physicians and Surgeons. At Columbia, her research focused on understanding triggers for psoriasis and cutaneous lymphomas. She then completed a residency in dermatology at UT Southwestern in Dallas, Texas, which is consistently ranked as one of the top dermatology programs in the nation. Dr. Anderson has presented her research at international medical conferences and published in journals such as the Journal for Investigative Dermatology, Current Dermatology Reports, Dermatologic Surgery, and the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology Case Reports.
Dr. Anderson enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, hiking, and working out.
