Meet Neil Niren, MD

 

Neil Niren, MD is a board-certified dermatologist with more than four decades of experience providing comprehensive medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatologic care. Throughout his career, he has been dedicated to delivering thoughtful, individualized care while staying current with advances in dermatology and skin rejuvenation.

Dr. Niren earned his medical degree from Creighton University School of Medicine before completing his internship at Cambridge Hospital, affiliated with Harvard University. His medical training also included positions at Johns Hopkins University and Cleveland Clinic. He went on to complete his dermatology residency at Cook County Hospital. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Niren spent 12 years as an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Dermatology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, where he contributed to the education and training of future medical professionals.

Dr. Niren treats a wide variety of dermatologic concerns, including acne, eczema, skin cancer, and other skin conditions. His extensive experience also includes Mohs surgery and cosmetic dermatology, giving him a comprehensive perspective on both the health and appearance of the skin.

Throughout his career, Dr. Niren has contributed to the field of dermatology through published articles and scientific research and has been recognized for his professional and academic achievements. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and has received recognition as a Leading Physician and Top Dermatologist of Pennsylvania.

With more than 40 years of experience, Dr. Niren brings extensive clinical expertise and a personalized approach to every patient. He takes the time to understand each patient’s individual concerns and goals and develops treatment plans tailored to their unique needs.
