Dr. Celestina Atumonye is a dedicated dermatologist committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care that blends medical expertise with individualized treatment. She takes the time to truly understand each patient, their unique skin, concerns, goals, and lifestyle, building a foundation of trust, transparency, and respect. Whether managing chronic skin conditions, addressing pigmentary disorders, or enhancing natural beauty, Dr. Atumonye empowers her patients with knowledge and solutions tailored to what matters most to them.
Born in New Jersey and raised in Tampa, Florida, Dr. Atumonye knew from an early age that she wanted to become a physician. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Miami, followed by her Doctor of Medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine. She went on to complete her Internal Medicine preliminary year at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta and her Dermatology residency at the McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University in Chicago. Drawn to dermatology for its unique balance of medical breadth and procedural precision, she enjoys the variety it brings, from diagnosing complex conditions through skin findings to performing in-office
procedures.
Dr. Atumonye has special clinical interests in pigmentary disorders, acne, skin cancer screening, and cosmetic dermatology. Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time at the beach, staying active, and cooking traditional Nigerian dishes.
