Meet David M. Sharaf, MD

 

David Sharaf, M.D., has over 30 years of dermatology medicine experience treating patients for various types of medical and cosmetic dermatologic skin conditions. Dr. Sharaf is Board Certified in Dermatology and is also board eligible in Internal Medicine. Dr. Sharaf is a founding partner in Skin and Cancer Associates.

Dr. Sharaf graduated with honors in biology from Trinity College and received his medical degree from University of Massachusetts Medical School. He performed his residency in internal medicine at Mt. Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, Massachusetts and performed his residency in dermatology at Mt. Sinai Hospital in Miami Beach, Florida. He is a Diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners. Dr. Sharaf is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.

Dr. Sharaf has completed several articles for publication and has medical staff affiliations at Westside Regional Hospital and Aventura Medical Center.

Additionally, he continues to perform numerous community activities in dermatology such as skin cancer screenings on behalf of major corporations and hospitals, providing care at Salvation Army Homeless Clinics and conducts various lectures.

Dr. Sharaf offers his patients specially formulated skin care products for use as part of a physician supervised skin care regimen. An office based Aesthetician is always available to perform professional facials.
