Meet Ian Guevara, MSN, APRN, FNP-C

 

Ian Guevara, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is an experienced dermatology provider with more than 20 years of expertise in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara and completed advanced dermatology training in Peru and Mexico before pursuing a prestigious Postdoctoral Fellowship in the Department of Dermatology at UT Southwestern Medical Center.

Ian has an extensive background in dermatology clinical research, with a special focus on pigmentary disorders such as melasma, vitiligo, and post-inflammatory
hyperpigmentation. He continues to participate in clinical research as a sub-investigator while providing personalized, patient-centered dermatologic care.

Known for his compassionate and holistic approach, Ian combines clinical expertise with an artistic eye to help patients achieve healthy, natural-looking results. His clinical interests include acne, chronic skin conditions, skin cancer screenings, pigmentary disorders, and cosmetic dermatology procedures.

Fluent in English and Spanish, Ian is committed to creating a welcoming environment where patients feel informed, comfortable, and confident throughout their care.
