Meet Jodi A. Fiedler, MD

 

Dr. Jodi Fiedler is a board-certified dermatologist who has been practicing since 1999. A South Florida native, she grew up in Fort Lauderdale and attended Pine Crest School. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Cornell University in 1989, where she was a Cornell National Scholar, president of the Pre-Medical Honors Society, and a member of Mortarboard, the university’s honors society.

Dr. Fiedler earned her medical degree from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York in 1994. While there, she was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and received the Arthur Aufses, Sr. Prize in Surgery. She completed her internship in surgery and her dermatology residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York, where she also served as chief resident.

Upon completing her residency, Dr. Fiedler joined a private dermatology practice in Manhattan, where she was an associate of the  then-president of the American Academy of Dermatology.She later returned to South Florida, becoming a partner in a dermatology practice with offices in Coral Springs and Boca Raton for 13 years. In May 2013 she co-founded DermPartners, Inc. with Dr. Shari Topper.

Dr. Fiedler has been a board-certified dermatologist since 1999 and has successfully completed re-certification in 2009 and in 2019. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a member of the Florida Medical Association and the American Society for Lasers in Medicine and Surgery. She is frequently invited to be a guest speaker for various community groups in the Palm Beach County area.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Fiedler is an active member of the Cornell Alumni Association and has proudly served as a South Florida interviewer for Cornell’s admissions committee.

Her philosophy of care centers on treating every patient with the highest level of compassion, professionalism, and medical excellence in a modern clinical setting. Outside of medicine, Dr. Fiedler is happily married and the proud mother of three boys.
