All treatments should be spaced about 3 to 4 weeks apart. The number of treatments needed depends on the size, location, type and depth of the ink in the skin. Is post-treatment care necessary?

Yes. The treated area should be kept clean (not scrubbed) with application of antibacterial ointment administered by your doctor.
