Tamara Lior M.D. is double board-certified in both Dermatology and Mohs Micrographic Surgery, practicing in South Florida since 2000. She specializes in Mohs micrographic skin cancer surgery and reconstruction in addition to performing skin cancer screening, cosmetic dermatology, and laser therapies.

Dr. Lior, is a native of Las Vegas, and graduated with honors in Biology from University of Nevada. She earned her medical degree from Medical College of Wisconsin followed by an internship in Internal Medicine. She pursued her postgraduate residency training in Dermatology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Dr. Lior then completed a fellowship in Mohs and Laser Surgery at Boston University.

In 2000, Dr. Lior joined Cleveland Clinic Florida where she held various positions as former Chair of Department of Dermatology and then Head Section of Mohs and Laser Surgery until her departure in 2024. Additionally, she has published and been invited to lecture at various dermatologic society meetings. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American College of Mohs Surgery. Dr. Lior is also an active member of various professional societies including American Academy of Dermatology, American College of Mohs Micrographic Surgery, American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, and International Immunosuppression and Transplant Skin Cancer Collaboration.

Dr. Lior is passionate about the treatment of skin cancer. Although professional, she has a refreshing, warm, and comfortable demeanor. The nature of her practice is complimented by her style of specialized individual treatments tailored to patient needs, understanding each has unique concerns which she addresses in an easy to understand, reassuring style.

In her leisure time, Dr. Lior finds joy in spending quality moments with her family, including their beloved Golden Doodle, Bailey. She enjoys immersing herself in different cultures through travel, as well outdoor hobbies like camping, hiking and bee keeping along with her husband. Fluent in English, German and proficient in some Yiddish, Dr. Lior embraces language and cultural diversity in her patients.
