SMOOTHBEAM™ LASER

SmoothBeam™ Laser is a new, non-invasive, highly effective laser treatment to rejuvenate the skin by stimulating the body’s natural collagen-building process. SmoothBeam™ skin treatment is a revolutionary way to combat the signs of aging and acne scarring. This procedure stimulates healthier looking skin by using an infrared laser together with a cooling process to rejuvenate your skin from the inside out. There are no harsh chemicals and no long recovery times. SmoothBeam™ treatments are gentle, safe and effectiveon all pigmentation and skin types.

What Conditions Does SmoothBeam™ Laser Treat?

Smoothbeam™ provides facial rejuvenation for fine lines around the lips and eyes, deeper lines and grooves that form in our brow, next to the nose and down to the corners of our mouth. It also helps improve surface irregularities such as pigment discolorations, acne scarring and active acne found on the face, neck, shoulders, upper back and chest.

How Does The Treatment Work?

SmoothBeam™ combines a cooling cryogen spray and a diode laser to give you optimal results with the least inconvenience. The protective cooling spray is applied to the skin, allowing the SmoothBeam™ laser light to pass harmlessly through the upper layers of your skin to stimulate the cells deep below the surface that produce natural collagen. The collagen and elastin fibers continue to multiply after your treatment, and you will continue to see improved results over the months ahead. SmoothBeam™ also targets sebaceous glands to treat both inflammatory and non-inflammatory acne lesions. It works by causing thermal injury to these glands getting to the root cause of acne.

How long does a treatment take and how many treatments are necessary?

The SmoothBeam™ treatment is so quick and easy. Many patients come in for treatment during their lunch hour. The treatment takes between 15 and 30 minutes, and there are virtually no side effects. You can reapply your makeup right away and carry on with you day. Clinical studies suggest that an average of two to three treatments are needed to stimulate new collagen growth. Treatments are typically performed 3 to 4 weeks apart. We also recommend regular touch up treatments to sustain the continued growth of new collagen.
